The engineering and production workstation of today's fab requires
a toolbox of software in order for its users to perform their job.
This suite of this needed software complicates system installation,
system troubleshooting, and applications training of its users.
Zenpire bundles several of the most useful "commodity"
software into one product calling it iFAB-Utilities.
iFAB-Utilities includes software that can be invoked seperately
or from the same user interface as other iFAB modules (appearing
to be embedded into the module like iFAB-Defect).
The utilities include:
- FTP client
- Word processor
- E-mail client
- Telnet client
- Zip and Jar compression application
- Data encryption application (Triple DES, Blowfish)
- Calculator (2 types: simple and graphing)
- Web browser
- File search and replace application
These applications have been selected because most engineers use
these applications to function in today's networked fab. Each of
the applications is bundled into one file and easily installed onto
the iFAB client.
