| iFAB-Defect Year 2000 Issues |
|
iFAB Defect relies on files from outside data sources. Some of the defect datafiles do not have a four digit year. For example, the year 1999 is represented by "99". To compensate for this, Zenpire has set a policy using a "hinge" date of 1980. Any two digit date larger than or equal to "80" will be considered part of the 1900's and any date "80" and less with be consider part of the 2000's. Once inside the Zenpire Software product, all dates are are acurate to four digits. |
